IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR POTENTIAL
CEDAR PARK HIGH SCHOOL GOLFERS 2025-2026
If you are interested in trying-out for the CEDAR PARK GOLF TEAM you must have a PHYSICAL and RankOne paperwork completed before the try-out.
Click the link below to access the required forms, select Student Athlete Forms. When logged into Rank One, you can view the expiration date of your physical on file. If it expires prior to tryouts, please get and submit a new one. If you have never created a Rank One account, scroll to the bottom and select “create a new account”.
BOYS AND GIRLS TRY-OUTS will be held on July 30-31 (W-Th) at Crystal Falls Golf Club.
Tee-times at approx. 3:00-4:00pm EACH DAY.
Competitors will play 9 holes of stroke play each day (front 9 holes; boys on blue tees, girls on red tees), for an 18-hole total score to determine who makes the team (do not let this turn you away from trying out - there is still potential for beginners/entry level players to make the team). Players must provide own transportation to/from try-outs.
*Proper golf attire (collared shirt for boys, no blue jeans, etc.) is required
*Players must walk and carry/push-cart their own bag (no caddies)
*Hydrate properly PRIOR to try-outs- players should bring water bottles
*Players must submit their tournament resumes NO LATER than July 20, 2025. Resumes must include; Tournament played (with linked results), Club Membership (if available), Swing Instructor.
SUMMER PREP
Things you can do over the summer to help you:
*Practice/play as much as possible
*Take lessons (call local courses and driving ranges for info)
*Learn the rules/etiquette of golf
*Improve your conditioning/flexibility/strength
*Work on SHORT GAME (putting, chipping, pitching, sand shots, etc.)
*Play in as many Summer TOURNAMENTS as possible

ADVANCED PLAYER:
Play in City of Austin Tournaments, STPGA Junior Tour/Prestige events, and State/National qualifiers and tournaments.
